I just completed a MailChimp Newsletter Template for Windmill Networking. Neal Schaffer is an international speaker, social media expert and strategist. His blog is a fantastic Social Media Resource. He has 24 social media experts write weekly on different facets of social media marketing. Neal, himself, writes on the ins and outs of LinkedIn and Twitter.
New and Improved MailChimp Newsletter Template
This MailChimp newsletter template, for his monthly newsletter, will contain quite a bit of content as he and his guest bloggers post between 5 to 8 times a week. That’s a lot of great content, and great information to learn about the latest and greatest in social media. He has some unique issues … Lots of content makes for a very long email newsletter. This means lots of scrolling, which most people don’t want to do. So to let people get to the information they want quickly, we’ve employed the new “Table of Content” feature. This MailChimp newsletter template feature creates bulleted links out of your article headers. Readers can click on the link and go directly to the article down the page.
Social Media Savvy MailChimp Newsletter Template
I’ve added a social element to this MailChimp newsletter template with a Facebook like, Google Plus +1 and a Twitter button. These buttons will push the entire newsletter out to the reader favorite social media source. Neal sends out completely new information on every newsletter. If Neal had chosen to post the individual blog posts we could have added Facebook like, +1 and Twitter buttons that promote the blog post instead of the whole newsletter.
Mobile Capable MailChimp Newsletter Template
Since most social media users are tech savvy, they are more likely to use mobile devices to read blogs and email. So I’ve used a mobile ready MailChimp newsletter template. And because today’s and tomorrows smart phones and pads are coming with higher screen resolution, we increased the dpi on the images to make them crisper and more legible. The great part about this mobile MailChimp newsletter template is that it looks as good on a regular computer screen as it looks on a mobile screen.
