Hi there. Today’s MailChimp Help question comes from Christy Zeller.
Christy asked, “I’m trying to set up an account with MailChimp for our home décor shop. We do not have a website. Can I pass/bypass that entry while setting up?”
The answer is no. You need to have some type of website or web address to be able to set up MailChimp. It’s one of the things that MailChimp uses to verify that you’re actually who you say you are and it doesn’t have to be a traditional website. It could be one of your social media profiles, it could be your Twitter profile, it could be your Facebook profile. Any of your social media profiles will do.
So you just need to have an URL that they can go out to and confirm that it is really you and that you have a business and that you need a MailChimp account. Thanks! Christy.
